DOG RESCUE TEAM SLOVAK REPUBLIC is a voluntary association of citizens, registerred at the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic.

We are non-profit association,that joins whipper-inn rescuers. From the whole area of Slovakia.

We have three training centres - in Trnave, in Žilina and in Medzev. These centres are used for special training of dogs-rescuers, that are used in live situations: for looking up for people after earthquakes, mining accidents, floods, or looking for lost people in the forests. and unaccessible areas.

We cooperate with other rescue teams - Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, Police, Civil Defence, Fire-brigade, the Slovak Red Cross Slovenský červený kríž, and afterbthe ask also with other foreign teams. We are members of IRO ( Internationale Rettungshunde Organisation), that groups whipper-inn rescuers all over the world.

Our KZS SR has a character of charity, we are nonprofit organization,our members act without financial claims for their services and also for any claims conected with training of the dogs. The dogs training and rescue activities are paid within their family accounts.

That´s why we have no enough financial means.

We are lacking in material and technical equipment, which can help us to increase preparadness, readiness and alert of our members.

We do believe, that human life is not indiferent to you. Your oppinion can be given on this dea in the way of material or financial help.
